Did u dried the rose with silica or natural way?
You can dry it in silica sand or press it in a book. Here I have pressed it in book

This is a chemical and after mixing resin and hardner in prescribed ratio it gets hard like rock within 24 hrs. You need not to do anything additional, it gets hard all by itself
